Does Your Business Matter?

Stasch_Jackie_2013_01Jackie Stasch, CEM, is  Manager of ALA Exhibits & Sponsorships. She has been with ALA for four years and has more than 20 years’ experience in association event management. She is Certified in Exhibition Management and earned that designation in 2006.

Of course it does.

You must keep up with the ever-changing world of legal management … and the 2013 ALA Annual Conference & Exposition provides three action-packed days of knowledge, resources and networking to help you lead your firm into the future.

I’m excited to tell you that in addition to the 75+ high-quality educational sessions, there will be more than 40 Business Matters! sessions on the Conference agenda. These popular sessions, created and presented by ALA business partners, will enhance your educational experience in National Harbor. And, as a bonus, these sessions do not conflict with the rest of the educational content (or lunch!) so, there’s no reason not to attend!

Some of the topics covered during these 30-minute sessions include:

• Disaster Recovery
• Mobile Solutions
• Increasing Firm Revenue
• Process Improvement
• Retirement and Benefits

View the complete lineup of Business Matters! sessions and be sure to check back often as information is continually updated.

(NOTE: If you’re a registered exhibitor interested in securing a Business Matters! session at this year’s Conference, a few spots still remain. Contact me at jstasch@alanet.org for more information.)

ALA’s business partners are not just salespeople gathering leads; they are thought leaders (many who have been in the legal administrative trenches themselves) who are eager to provide education, insights and pearls of wisdom to help you make your job and daily work-life easier. They have a unique perspective on the current and future state of legal management … take advantage of it!

Have you attended a Business Matters! session at a past Annual or Regional conference? What priceless nugget of information did you take away?

This is a terrific “lineup” of Business Matters sessions. I especially like the technology sessions – I get a lot of information in a short period of time.
